Our Story
Born from a friendship forged in the sometimes maniacal but always iconic hallways of the Record Plant recording studios, Happy Yeah! Productions is the brainchild of Justin Merrill and Mitch Kenny. After 20 years of working independently in the music industry (which happened to net them multiple GRAMMY awards, an Emmy, ARIA awards, and millions of record sales) Justin and Mitch decided to join forces in 2019 to create Happy Yeah! Productions. The ethos is simple - if it's making us smile, we are doing it right. This, combined with a passion for the highest quality musical productions and years of delivering highly acclaimed commercial recordings, makes everything Happy Yeah! Productions creates stand out from the crowd.
